Anna Kaaleste

Anna Kaaleste, born Mukhina on 17 January 1930 and passing away on 16 July 2014, was a talented Soviet cross-country skier. She was known for her skill and determination on the snow.
She took part in the women's 10 kilometres event at the 1956 Winter Olympics, showing her ability on an international stage.
Anna was also married to Mikhail Kaaleste, an Estonian sprint canoeist, and together they were part of the world of sports during an exciting time for athletic competition.
