The Asia News Network (ANN) is a group of 24 news organizations from different countries in Asia. It is based in Singapore and was started in 1999. The purpose of this network is to help these news groups work together and share their skills and knowledge.
By working together, the members of ANN can better cover important events happening in Asia and around the world. They also share their own country's perspective on these events. Many of the newspapers in this group are the main newspapers in their own countries, known as the newspaper of record.
In the past, ANN also published a weekly news magazine that began in 2006. This helped share news and stories with even more people across Asia.
