Bakkhali is a village located in the Namkhana police station area, within the Namkhana community development block. It is part of the Kakdwip subdivision in the South 24 Parganas district, in the state of West Bengal, India.

It is important not to confuse this Bakkhali with another place called the Bakkhali river, which is located in Cox's Bazar District, Bangladesh. This helps to understand the unique location and identity of the village in India.
