The Cabo Verdean diaspora refers to the movement of people from Cape Verde to other parts of the world, both in the past and today. Many people from Cape Verde have moved to live in other countries. In fact, today there are more Cabo Verdeans living outside of Cape Verde than inside the country.

The United States has the largest number of Cape Verdeans living abroad. This means that many families and communities from Cape Verde have built new lives in different places, keeping strong ties to their home country's culture and traditions.
