History

The Carmel Market began in the 1920s. It is found between Allenby Street and Magen David Square, mainly along Carmel Street, but it has grown to include streets like Nahalat Binyamin.

The market is open every day except Shabbat, which is Saturday. It sells mostly food, but you can also find home accessories and flowers. Tuesdays and Fridays are special days when artists and vendors sell unique crafts, art, and jewelry on Nahalat Binyamin Street.
