Cowlick
Adapted from Wikipedia ยท Discoverer experience
A cowlick is a special part of a person's hair that stands straight up or lies at an angle different from the rest of their hairstyle. This unique shape can make a person's hair look interesting and different from others.
The most common place to find a cowlick is at the top of the head, called the crown. But cowlicks can also appear anywhere on the head, sometimes in the front or the back.
The word "cowlick" has been used since the late 16th century. Back then, a doctor named Richard Haydock used it in his translation of a book by Gian Paolo Lomazzo. Another, less common name for this hair shape is "calf-lick."
Management
If someone really wants to change their cowlick, there are some strong ways to do it. They might choose to use methods like removing hair permanently, waxing, or even having a small cosmetic surgery to make the cowlick look different forever.
