The Evangelical Baptist Church of the Central African Republic (Église Évangélique Baptiste en République Centrafricaine) is a Baptist Christian denomination. It is part of the larger Baptist World Alliance and works in the country of the Central African Republic. The main office of this church is located in the city of Berbérati. This church helps bring together people who share the same beliefs and supports the community through its activities and services.
History
The Evangelical Baptist Church of the Central African Republic began with a Swedish mission group in 1923 in Bania, Mambéré-Kadéï. The church became official in 1962. By 2023, it had 237 churches and about 68,397 members.
