The Greenland Group Suzhou Center is a very tall building being built in Suzhou, China. It is being created by the Greenland Group, a big company that builds structures all over the world. When it is finished, this skyscraper will stand 358 metres tall, which is about as high as 1,174.5 feet.
Construction on this amazing building began in 2014, and workers have been busy ever since. The building is expected to be completed in 2025, which means children reading this in 2026 might get to see it finished. Tall buildings like this help cities grow and provide space for people to live and work.
Design
The building was designed by Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill. It has 30 floors with special windows that can be opened. There is a large central atrium that splits the inside of the building into east and west sections, helping to improve ventilation.
