Gregory Ruth (August 9, 1939 – June 30, 1974) was an American wrestler. He was known for his skill and competed in the men's freestyle lightweight event at the 1964 Summer Olympics. Before the Olympics, Gregory wrestled for the University of Oklahoma, where he became a two-time NCAA champion, showing great talent and determination.

Sadly, Gregory’s life ended in a powerboat racing accident on June 30, 1974, in Waco, Texas. After his passing, he was buried at Sunset Memorial Park in Norman, Oklahoma. Though his career was short, Gregory left a lasting impression on the sport of wrestling.
