An interpretation centre, interpretive centre, or visitor interpretive centre is a special kind of museum that helps people learn about natural or cultural heritage. These centres are often found near important historic or natural sites, and they work closely with visitor centres or ecomuseums.

Interpretation centres use many fun and easy ways to help visitors understand the heritage around them. They use friendly and interactive shows, scenographic exhibitions, and multimedia programs to make learning exciting. Many of these centres also change their displays to focus on different parts of the site from time to time.

These centres are especially helpful in places where it might be hard to build a big traditional museum. They help share important stories about the area, which can bring more visitors and support local communities. Unlike regular museums, interpretation centres focus on teaching and helping people feel connected to the heritage, rather than collecting and studying items themselves. They often work with other groups who specialize in conservation and research.
