Jim Higgins, born on March 9, 1936, was an American luger. A luger is a person who competes in a winter sport where they slide down icy tracks on their stomachs in a small sled. Jim participated in the men's doubles event at the 1964 Winter Olympics, which is a big and exciting sports event that happens every few years. The Olympics bring together athletes from all over the world to compete in many different sports. Jim's participation showed his skill and dedication to the sport of luge.
