The Kenyatta National Hospital is the oldest hospital in Nairobi, Kenya. It was established in 1901 as the Native Civil Hospital and later renamed Kenyatta National Hospital in 1963. Today, it serves as a public hospital and a place where doctors and nurses learn and practice their skills through the University of Nairobi College of Health Sciences.

As the largest hospital in the country and East Africa, Kenyatta National Hospital plays an important role in providing care to many people. It is also a referral hospital, meaning patients from other hospitals can be sent there when they need special care. This makes it a key part of the Ministry of Health in Kenya.

Location
