List of airports in Cape Verde
Adapted from Wikipedia · Discoverer experience
Cape Verde is a group of islands in the Atlantic Ocean, and having airports is very important for the country. Because the islands are separate, people cannot travel between them by land, so airports help connect the islands. Every island except Brava and Santo Antão has its own airport for local travel.
Praia Airport started welcoming international flights in September 2005. It mainly serves people from the Cape Verdian diaspora who visit their families and friends. Sal Airport used to handle all international flights, but now it mostly serves tourists visiting Sal Island. In late 2009, São Pedro Airport on São Vicente Island also became an international airport, adding more options for travel.
