List of former American Basketball Association (2000–present) teams
Adapted from Wikipedia · Discoverer experience
The American Basketball Association (2000–present) has had many teams since it began. Some of these teams are no longer part of the league. They either stopped playing or moved to other basketball leagues. This list shows those teams that are now gone or have left the ABA.
It is important not to confuse these teams with the older teams from the first American Basketball Association, which was a different league. The teams here are only from the ABA that started in the year 2000 and continues today.
The list includes teams from many different places, organized from A to Z. Each team had its own story, and learning about them helps us understand the history of basketball in the United States.
