Moldova is a country in Eastern Europe with many places to visit and learn about. There are 1,682 different localities, which are places where people live. These include 66 urban areas, such as cities and towns, and 1,616 rural areas, known as villages. In Moldova, two or more villages can come together to form a commune, which is a type of local community.
This list organizes these places by district, showing all the cities and communes in each area. It also includes any smaller villages that belong to these larger areas. Together, these localities cover the whole country of Moldova, making it an interesting place to explore its geography and culture.
