Loubet Coast
Adapted from Wikipedia · Discoverer experience
The Loubet Coast is a part of the west coast of Graham Land in the Antarctic Peninsula. It stretches for about 158 kilometers between Cape Bellue to the northeast and Bourgeois Fjord to the southwest. This area is found between the Fallières Coast to the south and the Graham Coast to the north.
The coast is named after Émile Loubet, who was the President of France at the time. The area was explored during the French Antarctic Expedition led by Jean-Baptiste Charcot in January 1905. This discovery added to our understanding of the Antarctic Peninsula and its many features.
