The Luxembourg plateau is a large Early Jurassic sandstone plateau in south-central Luxembourg. It lies mostly between 300 metres (980 ft) and 400 metres (1,300 ft) and is the main part of the Gutland region.

The mid-Alzette runs through the Luxembourg plateau, and other rivers like the Black Ernz, White Ernz, Mamer, and Syre begin their journeys there. The highest point is in the Grünewald, reaching 437 metres (1,434 ft). The land is a mix of forests and farmland, with some of Luxembourg's richest soil, though farming is not a major part of the area's economy.

The plateau is the most crowded part of Luxembourg, home to over 170,000 people. Luxembourg City is the most important city, where almost half of the people live. Other towns on the plateau, such as Bascharage, Bertrange, Howald, Mamer, and Strassen, each have more than 4,000 residents. The area's economy is centered around administration, financial services, tourism, and high tech industry.
