Baltimore, Maryland, is an important place for news and entertainment, even though it is only a short drive from Washington, D.C.. The city has its own big newspaper called The Baltimore Sun. This newspaper, along with other papers in the area, belongs to David Smith, who is the leader of the Sinclair Broadcast Group. This group owns over 200 television stations, including one called Fox 45 in Baltimore.
