Microcaldus
Adapted from Wikipedia ยท Discoverer experience
Microcaldus is a special group of very tiny, ancient life forms called ultra-small archaea. It has only one species, called Microcaldus variisymbioticus. This unique life form belongs to its own family, Microcaldaceae, its own order, Microcaldales, its own class, Microcaldia, and its own phylum, Microcaldota. The name Microcaldus comes from its ability to live closely together with other tiny living things, called microbes, in a helpful way. This makes Microcaldus important for scientists who study how tiny living things work and live together.
