Mount Bintumani, also called Loma Mansa, is the tallest mountain in Sierra Leone and the Loma Mountains. It stands at 1,945 metres (6,381 feet) tall. The lower parts of the mountain are covered in rainforests, which are home to many interesting animals. You can find pygmy hippopotamuses, dwarf crocodiles, rufous fishing-owls, and many different kinds of primates living in these forests. The mountain and its surrounding areas are important for protecting these special animals and their homes.
