The Municipality of Hunter's Hill is a local government area in Northern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It was first proclaimed in 1861 and includes the suburbs of Hunters Hill, Woolwich, Huntleys Point, Tarban, Henley, and part of Gladesville.
As of the 2021 census, the Municipality had an estimated population of 13,559 people. It is the smallest local government area in New South Wales, covering just 5.7 square kilometres (2.2 sq mi). Its boundaries have stayed mostly the same since it was established in 1861.
Since December 4, 2021, the mayor of Hunter's Hill has been Clr. Zac Miles. The area is known for its peaceful neighborhoods and rich history.

The Municipality of Hunter's Hill includes several suburbs and areas. These are:
- Gladesville (parts are located within the City of Ryde)
- Henley
- Hunters Hill
- Huntleys Cove
- Huntleys Point
- Woolwich
Council history
In 2015, a review suggested that the Municipality of Hunter's Hill should combine with nearby councils. This idea was to create a new, larger council covering 57 square kilometres and including about 164,000 people. However, in July 2017, the government decided not to force this merger to happen.
Demographics
In 2016, about 13,200 people lived in the Hunter's Hill area. Almost half were male, and half were female. Only a small part of the population were from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds. The average age was 43 years, which is older than the national average of 38 years. About 19% of people were children aged 0 to 14, and about 22% were older than 65.
Between 2001 and 2016, the population grew very slowly, much less than the rest of Australia. People in Hunter's Hill also tended to have higher weekly incomes than the national average.

Current composition and election method
Hunters Hill Municipal Council has seven councillors, including the mayor. They serve for four years. The Mayor is chosen directly by voters, while the other six councillors are elected in two groups, called wards, with each ward choosing three councillors. The last election was on 4 December 2021.
