Ndendé is a town and the capital of the Dola Department in Ngounié Province, in the southern part of Gabon. It is found about 549 kilometres southeast of the country's capital, Libreville. The town sits at the meeting point of two important roads, the N1 and N6. In 2006, Ndendé was home to around 6,346 people. This location makes it an important place for travel and trade in the region.
