Boxing
Dutch boxers competed in several weight classes. In the Men's Flyweight, Hein van der Zee lost in the first round. Piet van Klaveren won his first match but lost in the second. Moos Linneman won two matches before losing in the quarterfinals. Leen Jansen had a bye in the first round, won his second match, but lost in the quarterfinals. Toon Pastor won his first match but lost in the second round.

Road Competition
Dutch cyclists took part in the Men's Individual Road Race. Arend van 't Hoft finished 10th, Jan Plantaz was 22nd, Adrie Voorting came in 49th, and Jules Maenen did not finish.
Track Competition
Johan Hijzelendoorn placed 8th in the Men's 1.000m Time Trial and 9th in the Men's 1.000m Sprint Scratch Race. The team of Adrie Voorting, Daan de Groot, Jan Plantaz, and Jules Maenen was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Men's 4.000m Team Pursuit.

Water Polo
Men's Team Competition
The Dutch water polo team defeated the Soviet Union, Argentina, Sweden, and Yugoslavia in early rounds. After a replayed match, they tied with Hungary and defeated the Soviet Union again. They then defeated Belgium and Spain, finishing in fifth place. The team included Gerrit Bijlsma, Cor Braasem, Joop Cabout, Ruud van Feggelen, Max van Gelder, Nijs Korevaar, and Frits Smol.
