Niccolò Campriani

Niccolò Campriani (born November 6, 1987) is an Italian sport shooter and shooting coach. He has taken part in two Summer Olympics.

At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, he competed in several shooting events, including the men's 10 metre air rifle, men's small-bore rifle three positions, and men's small-bore rifle prone.

Four years later, at the 2012 Summer Olympics, Campriani won a silver medal in the men's 10 metre air rifle. He followed this achievement by winning a gold medal in the men's 50 metre rifle three positions, scoring an impressive total of 1278.5 points.

Biography

Niccolò Campriani is an Italian sport shooter and coach. He first competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics, where he placed 12th in the 10 metre rifle event. He later won gold medals at the Euro 2009 and the World Shooting Championships in 2010, becoming the first Italian world champion in shooting.

He went on to compete in the 2012 Summer Olympics, where he won a silver medal in the 10 metre rifle and a gold medal in the 50 metre rifle three positions. In the 2016 Summer Olympics, he won gold medals in both the 10 metre air rifle and the 50 metre rifle three positions events. In 2018, he became the shooting coach for the Italian national biathlon team.
