Papua New Guinea at the 2008 Summer Olympics

Papua New Guinea sent a team to the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. This was an important event for the country, showing its athletes on a big stage. The team had seven athletes who worked hard to represent their nation.
To help pay for the trip, people in Papua New Guinea organized a big fun run in early July. They hoped that about 35,000 people would join in to support their Olympic team. It was a way for everyone to come together and cheer for their country.
