Pinnacle One Yonge

Pinnacle One Yonge is a big building project happening in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It will have six very tall buildings, with heights from 22 to 106 storeys! The first building, called Prestige, finished in 2022 and is 65 storeys tall.

The second building is named the SkyTower and will be the tallest home building in all of Canada. The whole area is planned to have lots of space for people to use – about 4,600 square metres for community activities, 7,400 square metres for shops, and 93,000 square metres for offices. There will also be space for 2,500 homes in the buildings. This project will make a big, busy place where people can live, work, and shop together.

Construction

Construction on the first part of Pinnacle One Yonge began in 2018 and took four years to complete. The original plans by Hariri Pontarini Architects included three tall buildings, with the tallest being 95 storeys high. There was also a 65-storey building called the Prestige and an 80-storey building to the north. These buildings were planned to have 2,200 homes, shops, office space, a community center, a hotel, and a park. The Prestige building was already being built when the plans were shared in early 2020.

In November 2022, the builders asked the City of Toronto to make the two tallest buildings even taller. They wanted to add 11 storeys to the SkyTower, making it 106 storeys tall and the tallest building in Toronto. They also wanted to add 12 storeys to the third tower, making it 92 storeys tall. In November 2023, the city's planning team suggested these height increases to the city leaders for approval. In March 2025, they proposed making the SkyTower even taller, to 356 metres, and by December 2025, the SkyTower had reached its 100th storey.
