Queen Mary Land is a part of the coast of Antarctica. It lies between Cape Filchner at 91° 54' E and Cape Hordern at 100° 30' E. Australia claims this area as part of the Australian Antarctic Territory.
It was discovered in February 1912 by the Australasian Antarctic Expedition from 1911 to 1914. The leader of this expedition was Douglas Mawson. He named this land after Mary of Teck, who was the queen consort of George V.
