Ragnhild Gløersen Haga

Ragnhild Gløersen Haga (born 12 February 1991) is a retired Norwegian Olympic champion cross-country skier. She won gold medals at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, showing great skill and determination. Her achievements made her a proud representative of Norway in the world of winter sports. After her competitive career, Haga has inspired many young athletes to pursue their dreams in skiing.
Career
Ragnhild Gløersen Haga had an exciting career as a cross-country skier. She started making a name for herself in the 2015 World Cup season, achieving twelve top-ten finishes. That same year, she finished fourth in the Tour de Ski and competed for Norway at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun.
Haga’s biggest achievement came on March 12, 2023, when she won the first-ever women’s 50 km World Cup race in Holmenkollen, Norway. She announced her retirement from cross-country skiing just a few weeks later, on March 30, 2023.
Personal life
Ragnhild Gløersen Haga was born on 12 February 1991 in Nannestad. She is the niece of Anders Bakken, who competed in cross-country skiing at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid. Her partner is Øyvind Gløersen.
