The Comunidade Intermunicipal da Região de Leiria is an important area in western Portugal. It was created in 2014, taking the place of an older group of towns that had been working together since 2009. Since January 2015, this region has also been known as a NUTS3 subregion of the larger Centro Region.

The main city of this area is Leiria, and the region covers much of what used to be the district of Leiria. In 2011, about 294,632 people lived there, spread across an area of 2,449.12 square kilometers. This region is an important part of Portugal, bringing together several towns and cities to work together on shared goals.
