Southeast Village

Southeast Village is a neighborhood in Southeast Sacramento. It is located between Lemon Hill Ave to the north, 65th St. Expy to the west, 53rd Ave to the south, and bordered by Logan St and 75th St to the east. This area is part of the larger city of Sacramento, which is known for its rich history and community spirit. Residents of Southeast Village enjoy living in a part of the city that blends suburban comfort with urban amenities. The neighborhood offers a quiet place to live while still being close to schools, parks, and local shops.
Features
Elder Creek Road is the main street that goes through the middle of Southeast Village. The neighborhood has one elementary school, a park, a cemetery, an apartment complex, a shopping area, five places of worship, and a creek. It is mostly a place where people live, but it is close to an area with factories. The neighborhood is bordered by Sacramento County to the south.
Camellia Basic is a special school that attracts students from different areas. Camellia Park is next to the school and includes a tennis court, a small soccer field, a baseball diamond, a play area, and basketball courts. The park is currently being made bigger. Elder Creek Cemetery is a small, historic cemetery that dates back to 1864. Morrison Creek runs through the neighborhood, separating the northern and southern parts. Kennedy Estates is an apartment complex on the western edge, offering affordable housing. Elder Creek Market is the only shopping area in the neighborhood, providing items that people might otherwise have to travel farther to buy.
Government
Southeast Village is part of Sacramento City District 6, which is represented in the Sacramento City Council. It also falls under Sacramento County District 1 of the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors.
At the state level, the area is included in the 9th Assembly District and the 6th Senate District of the California State Legislature. In the United States House of Representatives, it is part of California's 6th congressional district, where it is represented by Democrat Ami Bera.
