Stefan Schörghuber

Stefan Schörghuber (6 July 1961 – 25 November 2008) was a German businessman. He was the owner of the Schörghuber Unternehmensgruppe in Munich, Germany. After his father Josef passed away in 1995, Stefan took over the business, reorganized it, and helped it grow. The business works in many areas, including drinks, building and property, aircraft leasing, and hotels.

In 2006, experts at Forbes estimated his wealth to be about US$2.8 billion, which placed him at number 245 on the List of Billionaires. Later, his wealth grew to about US$ 3.5 billion, moving him to number 307 on that list.

Stefan Schörghuber was married to Alexandra and had three children. They both helped support a charity called the “Josef-Schörghuber-Stiftung für Münchner Kinder,” which helps children and families in need in Munich. He also worked with Konrad Bernheimer to build a special collection of important old paintings known as the Schloss Fuschl Collection.
