The Sutli bomb is a special kind of firework made from green jute twine with a red band showing the maker’s name. The twine wraps around an explosive part, creating a very loud sound. This happens because the firework has tightly packed gunpowder inside. When the gunpowder gets hot, it makes lots of gases, and the noise occurs when the pressure from these gases bursts through the tight wrapping.
