UAP Old Mutual Tower

The UAP Old Mutual Tower is a very tall building with 33 floors. It is located in the Upper Hill area of Nairobi, the biggest city in Kenya. This building was finished in 2015 and became the tallest structure in all of Kenya. Before this tower was built, the tallest building was the Times Tower, which had been the tallest for 15 years.
Location
The UAP Old Mutual Tower stands on Hospital Road in the Upper Hill area of Nairobi, which is Kenya's capital city. It is about 3.5 kilometres west of the city's central business district.
Overview
The UAP Tower is owned by UAP Old Mutual Group, a big company that helps people with money matters. This company is based in Kenya and works in six African countries. The tower has lots of space for people to work, about 29,000 square metres. Once it is fully finished, it will also be the main office for the UAP Old Mutual Group.
People started using the building on July 5, 2016, and half of the space was already rented out on that first day. The tower was built using money from private investors, costing about 4 billion Kenyan shillings, which is roughly 40 million US dollars in 2015.
