Valley Christian School (Spokane Valley, Washington)

Valley Christian School is a private Christian school in Spokane Valley, Washington, United States. It was started in 1975 and is now located in a building that used to belong to University High School. The school is non-denominational and non-profit, and it is approved by the State of Washington. It offers education from preschool to 12th grade.
The school aims to provide a learning experience based on Christian beliefs for families who want this kind of education. Classes are kept small, with about 18 students on average, though the maximum sizes are 25 for elementary and 30 for secondary grades. The school also has a program to support homeschooled students.
One of the school's proud achievements is its Knowledge Bowl team, which has won state championships, including in 2013 and 2022. Recently, the school's cross country and track and field teams have also done very well, winning state championships in back-to-back school years for the men's teams.
Extracurriculars
Valley Christian School is part of District 7 in the 1B Division of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association. The school has men's teams in cross country, basketball, and track and field. Women's teams include volleyball, cross country, basketball, and track and field. The school also has co-ed teams for knowledge bowl, band, and choir. Some of their big sports rivalries are with Northwest Christian School, Wellpinit High School, and Almira-Coulee-Hartline High School.
