Viktar Zuyev

Viktor Valeryevich Zuyev, also spelled Viktar Valeryevich Zuyeu, was born on May 22, 1983. He is a former amateur boxer from Belarus. Zuyev is best known for his achievement in the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens, Greece, where he won the heavyweight silver medal. His performance in the Olympics showed his skill and dedication to the sport of boxing. As an amateur boxer, Zuyev competed at a high level, earning recognition for his strong performances on the international stage.
Career
Viktor Zuyev was a boxer from Belarus who fought as a southpaw. He won a silver medal at the Euro 2004 and went on to compete in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. There, he won three matches before losing in the final.
After the Olympics, Zuyev faced some tough losses in big tournaments. In 2005, he lost early at the world championships. In 2006, he was defeated quickly at the Euros. He kept competing and in 2008, he earned a spot in the Beijing Olympics, but lost his first match there. In 2009, he moved up to a heavier weight class and reached the semifinals of the World Amateur Boxing Championships, but was defeated there.
