Former names
Volley Lube has had several different names over the years. From 1990 to 1994, it was called Lube Carima Treia. Then, from 1994 to 1995, it was Lube Carima Macerata. Between 1995 and 2012, the team was known as Lube Banca Marche Macerata. Later, from 2012 to 2014, it became Cucine Lube Banca Marche Macerata. In 2014 to 2015, the name changed to Cucine Lube Banca Marche Treia, and then to Cucine Lube Banca Marche Civitanova from 2015 to 2016. Since 2016, the team has been called Cucine Lube Civitanova.
Grounds
The team used a small building in Treia, near Macerata, until 2015. This building only had 2,100 seats, so they had to play big matches in larger arenas in places like Pesaro and Ancona. After many discussions with Macerata’s city government, the team moved to a new sports hall in Civitanova Marche in 2015. This new hall has 4,200 seats and was built just for the team. It was named Eurosuole Forum because of sponsorship.
