WTVM/WRBL/WVRK Tower

Adapted from Wikipedia ยท Discoverer experience

The WTVM/WRBL/WVRK Tower, also called the WTVM TV Mast, is a very tall structure used for sending out television and radio signals. It is 533 meters tall and is located near the town of Cusseta in Georgia, United States. This tower helps people in the area watch TV and listen to the radio stations WTVM, WRBL, and WVRK-FM.

When it was built in 1962, this tower was the tallest structure in the whole world. But just a year later, in 1963, another very tall tower called the WIMZ-FM tower in Knoxville, Tennessee, became taller than it.

Even though the WTVM/WRBL/WVRK Tower is almost as tall as the famous Willis Tower in Chicago, it is not the tallest building or tower in Cusseta anymore. In 2005, a new tower called the Cusseta Richland Towers Tower became a little taller, at 538.2 meters.
