Wrestling at the 2004 Summer Olympics

Wrestling at the 2004 Summer Olympics took place in the Ano Liosia Olympic Hall. The sport was split into two disciplines: Freestyle and Greco-Roman. These disciplines were further divided into different weight categories. Men competed in both disciplines, while women only took part in the Freestyle event. This was the first time women's wrestling was included in the Olympic Games. In total, 18 gold medals were awarded across all the wrestling events.

Participating nations
Many countries sent wrestlers to compete in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. A total of 342 wrestlers from 66 nations took part.
