30 Hudson Yards

30 Hudson Yards is a very tall building in New York City. It stands in Midtown Manhattan, close to fun places like Hell’s Kitchen, Chelsea, and Penn Station. This building is part of a big plan to make a new area near a train yard.

The building is very tall! As of May 2025, it is the seventh-tallest building in New York City and the ninth-tallest in the United States. On the 100th floor, there is a special place called The Edge. This viewing area is 1,100 feet high and has clear flooring, making it one of the highest outdoor spots to see the city.

Many companies have offices in 30 Hudson Yards. After WarnerMedia joined with another company in 2022, Warner Bros. Discovery and other businesses moved in. The building also has studios for TV shows and a shopping area with many stores and restaurants.

The Edge has an exciting outdoor terrace that sticks out 80 feet from the building. It offers amazing views of Manhattan and the Hudson River. Visitors can look down through a glass triangle in the floor to see the street far below. There is also a fun activity called City Climb at Edge, where people can climb an outdoor staircase at the very top of the building. It is the highest open-air climb in the world!
