What is Asinus?

Asinus is a group of animals that belong to the Equus family. They are often called wild asses or wild donkeys. These animals have long ears and lean bodies. They are very tough and can live in hard places.

Where Do They Live?

Some of these animals live in Asia and Africa. They are strong and can survive in tough lands. There was once a wild ass that lived in Europe, but it is no longer alive today.

Meet the Donkey

The most famous member of the Asinus group is the donkey. Donkeys can be pets or help people with work. Other wild asses, like the onager and the kiang, still live in places such as Mongolia and Tibet. They are special and loved by many.
