Buena Park is famous for Knott's Berry Farm, a lively theme park where families can enjoy rides and shows. The city is also close to many shops and restaurants. It is about 12 miles from downtown Santa Ana and part of the big Los Angeles metropolitan area.

A Little History

Long ago, the Tongva people lived in a village called Juyubit near Coyote Creek. Later, Spanish settlers came and built farms. In 1887, a man named James A. Whitaker started the city. Today, Buena Park is a place for families and fun.
