What is CSS?

CSS, short for Cascading Style Sheets, is a special language that helps make web pages look nice and tidy. It works with two other important tools, HTML and JavaScript, to create the websites we see every day.

How Does CSS Work?

Think of HTML as the words and pictures on a page. CSS is like the paint and decorations. It decides the colors, fonts, and how everything is arranged. This way, the same words can look different on a phone, a tablet, or even a printer!

Why is CSS Important?

CSS is very helpful because it lets people change how a website looks without changing the words. This makes websites easier to use for everyone, even those who need special ways to see the web, like using a screen reader or a Braille-based device.

Fun with CSS

CSS can make a website look good on many devices, big or small. It even has rules to decide which style to use when there are many choices. This makes sure every visit to a website looks just right!
