Cambridge Beer Festival

The Cambridge Beer Festival is a happy event where people can taste many kinds of beer. It is the longest-running beer festival in the United Kingdom. This fun festival happens every year at the end of May, just before the Whitsuntide Bank Holiday.

The summer festival started in 1974 at the Cambridge Corn Exchange. Over the years, it moved a few times. Today, it takes place at Jesus Green. At the festival, you can also find a cheese stall with tasty snacks. Each year, the festival helps a charity.

There used to be a winter beer festival, too. It happened at the Cambridge University Social Club. But after the COVID-19 pandemic, the winter festival did not return. The summer festival, however, came back in 2023 and is still going strong!
