Historic Richmond Town is a special place where you can see old buildings and learn about life from long ago. It is located in the neighborhood of Richmondtown on Staten Island, which is part of New York City. The area is cared for by the Staten Island Historical Society.

Visitors can walk through old farms, homes, and shops that show what daily life was like many years ago. One fun part of the town is called Decker Farm, where families can enjoy activities like picking pumpkins in the fall. There are also two nearby churches: St. Andrew's Episcopal and St. Patrick's Church.

Historic Richmond Town started in 1958 when people wanted to save pieces of Staten Island's history. Today, the main area has 15 restored buildings on 25 acres. Schools often visit to learn about old trades like tinsmithing and blacksmithing. The town has special events like festivals with music and dancing.

You can reach Historic Richmond Town easily by bus, using the S74 or S54 buses. It is a wonderful place to imagine life from long ago and enjoy the history around you.
