Johannes Kepler
Johannes Kepler was a clever man from Germany. He loved to learn about the stars and planets. Kepler discovered important secrets about how planets move around the Sun. He wrote books sharing his ideas, and many people still read them today.
Kepler was born in a town called Weil der Stadt in 1571. Even as a child, he was very good at mathematics. He studied at special schools and later taught math to others. Kepler loved watching the sky and noticed interesting things, like bright stars and the Moon.
Kepler worked with another star watcher named Tycho Brahe in Prague. Together, they learned more about space. After Tycho Brahe passed away, Kepler took over his work. He wrote many books, including Astronomia Nova and Harmonice Mundi. These books helped people understand the universe better.
Kepler also studied how light works. He wrote about how telescopes could help us see faraway things. His ideas made telescopes better and helped scientists discover new worlds. Kepler’s discoveries are still important today, and he is remembered as a great thinker who helped us learn about space.
