A Little History
The Midland Main Line was built a long time ago, starting in the 1830s and finishing in the 1870s. It was one of the first big railways in England. Over the years, the trains got faster and better.
Even though some old train stops are no longer used, the Midland Main Line is still very busy and important for travel across England.
