Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is a wonderful group of three waterfalls between Canada and the United States. The biggest one is called Horseshoe Falls, which stands right on the border. On the U.S. side, you can see two smaller waterfalls named American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls.

These waterfalls were created by the Niagara River. The river flows from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario. Long ago, when glaciers melted, they left space for the river to flow over, making these amazing falls.

People love visiting Niagara Falls because of its beauty. It looks especially magical at night when lights shine on the water. Many tourists come to see the falls from both sides. On the Canadian side, there are beautiful gardens and observation rooms. On the U.S. side, you can walk along paths and even take a boat ride very close to the falls.

Niagara Falls also helps make electricity. Some of the water’s power is used to create energy for homes in both countries. This way, the falls are beautiful and useful at the same time.

The area around the falls is full of birds, especially gulls that visit during their travels. It’s a special place for nature lovers and everyone who wants to see something amazing.
