The Palestine Olympic Committee helps athletes from the State of Palestine take part in the Olympic Games and other big sports events around the world.
The committee works with the International Olympic Committee and the Olympic Council of Asia. This means Palestinian athletes can show their skills and wear their country’s flag with pride.
People have been helping Palestinian athletes since 1969. In 1996, the first Palestinian athlete joined the Olympic Games. Today, the Palestine Olympic Committee keeps supporting new athletes to shine on the world stage.
