Piscataway, New Jersey

Piscataway is a friendly town in Middlesex County, New Jersey. It is a cozy suburb close to the big city of New York. Many people live here, and it is a busy place with lots to see and do.

The town was started a long time ago, in 1666, by people who wanted to live in peace and follow their own beliefs. Today, Piscataway is best known for having part of Rutgers University. Students and visitors enjoy the big SHI Stadium, where the Rutgers Scarlet Knights football team plays exciting games.

Piscataway is easy to get around. Many roads, like Interstate 287, run through the town. Buses can take you to places such as Midtown Manhattan or Newark. Even though there are no train stops in Piscataway, nearby stations make traveling simple.

The town has many interesting spots. You can visit old houses and learn about the past at places like the Metlar-Bodine House or the Cornelius Low House. These buildings tell stories of how life used to be. Piscataway is a place where history and modern life come together, making it a special home for many.
