Princeton Tigers Football

The Princeton Tigers football team plays for Princeton University. They are part of a special group of schools called the Ivy League and compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).

Football at Princeton began very early in history. In 1869, students from Princeton played against Rutgers University in one of the first ever American football games. This game helped start the sport we know today!

Today, the team is led by Coach Bob Surace. The players work hard to do their best and show good sportsmanship. They play their home games in a special place called Princeton Stadium, which has a fun field named β€œPowers Field.”

Princeton has a long and proud tradition in football. They have won many championships over the years and are known for their exciting games and great players. Even when they had to play away from home while their stadium was being built, they kept playing strong!

The Princeton Tigers are loved by many fans and are a big part of the university's history and spirit.
